Holiday Spirit on Tour

The Spirit of the Season is alive and well! I was doing my due diligence in previewing a number of properties which mostly is tedious but necessary. I dutifully rang the doorbell of yet the 13th walkout rambler in Bloomington. 98% of the time no one responds, but this time a little elderly angel answered the door. She said, "I never get to thank the wonderful people that come to my home, so I've prepared a little plate of sweets to take with you. It may help you keep your energy up in this terrible market!" I was so touched that I, for once, was at a loss for words. Her home represented the pride of living. She proudly displayed her family and all the Xmas decorations one could imagine. As realtors, everything is our fault...rarely are we thanked, I've been blamed for the rise of prices, the fall of prices, the high interest rates, the faluts of bad loan officers and the lack of professionalism in our business, but rarely, out of the COLD blue, am I thanked! Something I will hold close to my heart throughout my entire career!!
